Charlie Wilson brought his Forever Charlie tour to Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Va., on March 6. Prior to the show, Wilson was presented with a signed frame from patrons attending his sold-out performance by Kelly Welch, Global Spectrum Marketing coordinator; Mike Fryling, Global Spectrum general manager; and Jordan Avant, Global Spectrum director of Operations.
Maroon 5 brought their #MAROONVTOUR with Magic! to Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tenn., and landed on our Hot Tickets chart yet again. With 16,574 fans attending the Live Nation promoted concert, the Feb. 27 concert grossed more than $1.3 million. The #MAROONVTOUR began Feb.16 with a performance at American Airlines Center, Dallas, and will travel the world, ending in Australia at the Allphones Arena, Sydney. Catch the next show of the tour at United Center, Chicago, on March 19.
The Forever Charlie Tour with special guests Kem & Joe rolled through Virginia stopping at Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk on March 6. Just over 6,000 fans came out to the AEG Live-promoted event. With ticket prices ranging from $48 to $88, Wilson grossed nearly $450,000. The Forever Charlie Tour is winding down with only eight more stops in the U.S. ending in Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay Events Center on March 28.
Rascal Flatts made it onto the Hot Tickets chart yet again, with the last six shows of their residency at The Joint, Las Vegas. The AEG Live-promoted events grossed just under $1.3 million with ticket prices ranging from $40 to $250. Fans at the March 13 show were treated to the surprise engagement of Bristol Palin to Sgt. Dakota Meyer during the concert while the band performed "Bless the Broken Road." The 4,000-seat venue at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will host Journey for a 9-show residency April 29-May 16.
