Ice Cube, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dog closed out the last day of the BET Experience on June 27. The three-day BET and L.A. Arena Company-promoted events were hosted at Staples Center and Club Nokia, Los Angeles. The sold-out show was subject to wide speculation due to the not-so-secret reuniting of N.W.A. of which Ice Cube was a founding member. With ticket prices ranging from $59 to $149, Staples Center was filled with over 15,000 fans in attendance to watch hip-hop superstars of several generations on stage together. The show grossed more than $1.4 million in ticket sales.
The Reba and Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas nine-show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, was a smash hit with all nine shows listed as sellouts. The AEG Live- and Caesars Entertainment-promoted shows brought in nearly $5 million. With 37,000 fans in attendance, ticket prices ranged from $60 to $205. Due to the unbridled success of the nine-show residency, Reba and Brooks & Dunn will return to The Colosseum for eight additional shows in December with ticket prices ranging from $60 to $205. Although six of the performances sold out prior to the miniresidency, the Dec. 1 and 8 performances were added this month and will go on sale July 17 at 10 a.m.
