Mariah Carey grosses over $5 million with nine shows at The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas.
Mariah Carey has officially wrapped up the second leg of her Mariah #1 To Infinity residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Place, Las Vegas. With nine shows, six of which sold out, Carey grossed more than $5.3 million beating her $4.5 million grossed in May. With ticket prices ranging from $55 to $250, nearly 35,000 fans attended the July 6-26 performances. The residency, aptly named for Carey’s numerous number one songs on the Billboard Hot 100, features 18 chart toppers. The AEG Live- and Caesars Palace-promoted shows will return to The Colosseum in February for nine additional shows.
Imagine Dragons played to a sold-out crowd at Bell Centre, Montreal, on July 3. The evenko- and Live Nation-promoted event grossed $709,000, with ticket prices ranging from $23 to $54. Currently on their Smoke + Mirrors Tour, Imagine Dragons began in South America on April 12 at Movistar Arena, Santiago, Chile, and have dates scheduled throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. The tour is scheduled to run until Feb 5, 2016, when it will end in Amsterdam at Ziggo Dome.
