Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin are halfway through their joint U.S. tour, which kicked off Oct. 16 with a sold-out show at Intrust Bank Arena, Wichita, Kan. The co-headlining bands have made it on our Hot Tickets chart twice this week with an Oct. 26 stop at Xfinity Arena at Everett (Wash.) and a Nov. 4 show at U.S. Cellular Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Frank Productions-, NS2-, and CMoore Live-promoted tour dates grossed $448,000 in ticket sales with more than 11,000 fans in attendance. With nine stops left on the tour before its conclusion in Portland, Maine, at Cross Insurance Arena, fans can catch Shinedown and Breaking Benjamin’s next performance Nov. 13 at Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, Tenn.
Bob Weir has resurrected The Grateful Dead, yet again, as Dead & Company with three of the Dead’s “core four” and big name additions, namely John Mayer. The tour, which began Oct. 29 at Times Union Center, Albany, N.Y., will make 22 stops throughout the U.S. before ending with back-to-back shows at The Forum in Los Angeles Dec. 30-31. The Oct. 29 event grossed $1 million in ticket sales alone, with ticket prices ranging from $47 to $97. The Live Nation-promoted event saw nearly 13,000 fans packed into Times Union Center. Fans in Ohio can catch Dead & Company’s next stop Nov. 13 at Nationwide Arena, Colombus.
