Justin Bieber and his Purpose World Tour are all over this week’s chart, first with a stop at Rogers Arena, Vancouver, B.C., where over 14,600 fans paid $60.50 to $149.50 for the show, part of the AEG Live-promoted tour. The one-night stop on March 11 grossed over $1.7 million.
Staples Center, Los Angeles, hosted the pop star for three nights, March 20-23, attracting over 41,000 fans in all. The shows grossed over $4.3 million, with tickets from $50.50 to $126. The tour then headed up to Fresno, Calif., to the Save Mart Center for a March 26 date that grossed over $1.1 million, with 11,874 in attendance and tickets at $50.50 to $116. You can see Bieber next at the BOK Center, Tulsa, Okla., on April 7 for a sold-out show.
Pitbull returned to The Axis at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, with his Time of Our Lives Las Vegas show, which he performed March 12, 16, 18-19, 23 and 25-26. The seven shows grossed over $2.7 million, with tickets from $37.06 to $376.05. With popular, seven-show runs last fall, Pitbull returned with this Caesars Entertainment and Live Nation-promoted run, which drew in 26,549 attendees. Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, Wantagh, N.Y., will be hosting the Cuban rapper next on June 4.
