INTIX’s board is in the process of re-envisioning the company’s purpose, mission and core values to ignite and sustain success for entertainment-ticketing professionals. Community, education and leadership are the core values of INTIX, which are driving decisions around strategic initiatives. The association’s membership structure is being examined to learn how it can be more diverse and inclusive. An entertainment-ticketing professional certification program is also being evaluated. Programs are being created with the aim of developing future leaders within the profession.

Today’s ticketing professional has a complex, integrated job and is capable of having a significant impact on the bottom line of a company. INTIX is here to connect professionals to knowledge, tools and relationships so they can grow as leaders while advancing their organizations.

Professional development is available through the continually-expanding online learning library.  If you missed If It Ain't Broke, Fix It Anyway: Getting Buy-In for Big Ideas or Personalizing the Patron Experience to Increase Your ROI, check them out On-Demand. Technology Integrations as Revenue Opportunities is open for registration with the live event scheduled for Thursday, July 21 at 12:30 p.m. EST. Registration is per connection. Hosting a gathering of co-workers or other ticketing professionals is a great way to learn, engage in follow-up discussion and network with peers. View these and other archived webinars through online learning at intix.org.

Through an education-content survey, we discovered that some of the greatest challenges for ticketing professionals include hiring and retaining staff, keeping up with and implementing new technology, building audiences and developing alternative revenue streams. This information defined the learning tracks for the 38th Annual Conference & Exhibition, to be held Jan. 24-26, 2017 at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in Louisiana.

These learning tracks, which are the basis for the 2017 Conference Call for Presentations, will include management, technology, marketing, revenue and leadership.  Over 25 educational workshops and two keynote sessions will cover these topics at the conference.

You are invited to submit a proposal to present. Simply go to the Annual Conference, Call for Presentations webpage on intix.org to learn more and submit your proposal.

Your ticketing professional is one of your company’s most valuable assets. Investing in education, peer-to-peer and business-to-business networking and professional development pays for itself many times over.

Engage, connect and grow with over 1,000 members worldwide by joining INTIX today.
