Mamma Mia! stars sing the songs of ABBA.
The North American Tour of Mamma Mia! is about a quarter of the way through its current run, having recently wrapped a successful stop at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas that grossed nearly $950,000. Next, the show heads to Thousand Oaks (Calif.) Plaza Jan. 14-19 before a one-night stop at Collier Center for the Performing Arts in Medford, Ore., Jan. 21. The tour will wrap at Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas, June 3-15. The London show of Mamma Mia! is currently at Novello Theatre until Oct. 25, and the German residency is scheduled at the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart until August.
Kanye West brought more than 30,000 fans to Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Dec. 22-23. Ticket prices up to $186 led to a gross of nearly $3 million. Next, West's Yeezus tour heads to Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, Pa., Feb. 13, and Baltimore Arena Feb. 14. The last scheduled show is at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., Feb. 23.
Canadian country star Johnny Reid wrapped up his A Christmas Gift to You tour with shows Dec. 19 at Halifax (Nova Scotia) Metro Centre and Dec. 17 at Moncton (New Brunswick) Coliseum. The evenko- and Live Nation-promoted shows both grossed around $250,000.
