Comcast-Spectacor Creates Position

Comcast-Spectacor has appointed Darleen Ghirardi to the newly-created position of VP of Procurement. In her new role, she will expand the procurement for the company and all of Comcast-Spectacor's assets, including Global Spectrum, Paciolan, New Era Tickets, Front Row Marketing Services and the National Hockey League's Phildelphia Flyers. Most recently, Ghirardi served as VP of Purchasing with Ovations Food Services, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor. Prior to her time with Ovations Food Services, Ghirardi was corporate VP of Purchasing for Fontainebleau in both Las Vegas and Miami from 2005-2009. She and her husband, Richard, live in Land O'Lakes, Fla., with their puppy, Bogie.
