In the coming year, INTIX is focusing its strategic energies on our relationship with the Regional Ticketing Groups. A long-range vision has been developed and the board is gathering more information to define the benefits and commitments of an affiliated relationship. The goal is to present an affiliated structure and have a couple of the groups beta test the program. We are also developing an online community and continuing to expand the online learning library.
Three new webinars are being added. Accessible Seating and Ticketing – Questions Asked and Answered was delivered live on June 11 with over 140 participants. If you missed it, check it out on-demand. Let’s Get Digital will be presented July 9 and The Mobile Movement will be presented Sept. 10. Registration is per connection and hosting a gathering of co-workers or other ticketing professionals is a great way for you to learn, engage in follow-up discussion and network with peers. Today, the successful ticketing professional has a wide range of skills, including customer relations, data analysis, financial management, marketing and communications. The education content survey revealed expertise required to be successful and defined learning tracks including Management, Technology, Marketing, Revenue and Personal Growth for the 36th Annual Conference & Exhibition to be held Jan. 13-15, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Convention Center.
Learning tracks are the basis for the 2015 Conference Call for Presentations. Over 25 educational workshops and 2 keynote sessions will be delivered during the conference covering these topics. You are invited to submit a proposal to present. Simply go to the Annual Conference/Call for Presentations webpage on intix.org to learn more and submit your proposal.
Participate in the inaugural Conference Committee meeting for the 37th Annual Conference & Exhibition Jan. 20-22, 2016, in Anaheim, Calif., scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 16 from 2-5 p.m. at the Disneyland Hotel. Then join the Board of Directors for a networking event that evening.
