The Fatty 'Cue BBQ brisket sandwich is a favorite at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Levy Restaurants has recently announced it has launched a new subsidiary focusing on providing analytics to the sports, entertainment, hospitality and retail organizations.

The new division, E15, focuses on teams’ front-office capabilities with the goal to help fill seats, optimize pricing, profile fan bases, identify new potential corporate partnerships and improve the fan experience.

No financial details of the new venture were disclosed.

E15 will be headquartered in Chicago, with analysts located in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles. It will be headed by Jaime Faulkner, who will serve as CEO, and brings 15 years of consulting experience with KPMG and Arthur Andersen to her role.

“E15 works with its partners to optimize future operations, rather than simply assess yesterday’s performance,” Faulkner said. “We gather and analyze data to find meaningful patterns and support business decision-making. Ultimately, E15 helps optimize any operation's processes that enable Levy, Levy’s clients, and E15’s clients to be more effective and efficient.”

This subsidiary has been engaged by current Levy partners to support draft selection and player asset management, helping teams improve their performance on the field. In addition, E15 will work with Levy’s partners’ technology teams to assess and effectively deploy emerging technologies.

“Many of our partners don’t have the depth of resources or experience available in-house to leverage analytics, so we’ve become that resource and an extension of our partners’ front office,” Faulkner said. “E15 will continue to serve as a specialist advisor for current Levy partners, as well as companies outside its portfolio in sports and entertainment, restaurants and hospitality to provide a range of analytics services, covering ticketing, retail, loyalty and corporate partnerships.

Levy Restaurants also has announced it has extended its partnership with Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Barclays Center. In this three-year deal, Levy will build on the venue’s BrooklynTaste food program, which includes selections from 55 Brooklyn restaurants and vendors.

Financial details of this deal were not disclosed. Levy Restaurants has been the food and beverage operator for Barclays Center since the venue opened in 2012.

In addition to extending this partnership at the home of the Brooklyn Nets, Levy will also become the food and beverage partner for the Nassau Coliseum, scheduled to open at the end of 2016. This will include a similar food program as Barclays Center’s that is geared toward Nassau residents.

“We are thrilled to extend and expand our relationship with Levy Restaurants. Levy has done an outstanding job at Barclays Center, co-authoring the [popular] BrooklynTaste program, and we are looking forward to delivering the same level of service to guests at Nassau Coliseum,” said Brett Yormark, CEO of Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Nets.
